The bracket we put on our own handrails. A square plate on the wall, a solid square arm, a flat saddle under the rail. Three pieces of steel, welded in our New Jersey shop and powder coated matte black. Nothing to adjust, nothing to slide, nothing to rattle loose.
- 2" × 2" wall plate, two screw holes
- 1/2" solid steel arm — holds the rail 2 inches clear of the wall. Code asks for 1-1/2; the extra half inch is the difference between a rail your hand closes around and one your knuckles drag along.
- 2" × 1" saddle with two holes. Fits our 1-1/2" square and 2" × 1" rails and any flat-bottom rail 1" or wider.
- Matte black powder coat, the same finish as our rails
- Wall screws and rail screws in the box. Concrete? Write it in the order notes and we send concrete screws.
- 4 brackets minimum for free shipping in the lower 48.
