Welcome to Bar-Zel Metal Works LLC ("Bar-Zel," "we," "us"), 436 W Commodore Blvd, Unit 10, Jackson, NJ 08527. By using barzelmetalworks.com or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. Made-to-order products. Every railing is custom fabricated to the dimensions and options you select or approve. You are responsible for the accuracy of measurements you provide. Standard panels are fabricated to the exact width entered at order; custom projects are fabricated to the drawing you approve. Once fabrication begins (or, for custom projects, once you approve the drawing), orders cannot be cancelled or changed.

2. Pricing and payment. Prices are in USD and exclude applicable taxes, which are calculated at checkout. Orders sized between whole feet include a per-inch exact-width fabrication charge shown before purchase. We may correct pricing errors on unfulfilled orders; if we do, you may cancel for a full refund.

3. Shipping, returns, and inspection are governed by our Shipping Policy and Refund Policy, which are part of these Terms. Issues must be reported within 3 days of delivery.

4. Installation and code compliance. Our panels are designed with openings under the 4-inch sphere rule and offered in 36" and 42" guard heights. Building codes, permit requirements, and required guard heights vary by location and application. You are responsible for confirming local code requirements, obtaining any permits, and ensuring proper installation into structurally adequate mounting surfaces with appropriate anchors. Bar-Zel supplies materials only and is not the installer of record.

5. Intended use. Products must be installed and used as guardrails/railings in accordance with our published specifications and installation guidance. Do not use products for climbing, fall-arrest, or any purpose other than intended.

6. Warranty. We warrant our workmanship and materials against defects as described in our Refund Policy. Except as stated there, products are provided "as is" and we disclaim all other warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

7. Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bar-Zel's total liability for any claim arising from an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including installation costs or property damage arising from improper installation. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

8. Content and intellectual property. All site content, designs, drawings, and the sizing configurator are owned by Bar-Zel and may not be copied or reused without permission. Quotes and drawings we produce remain our property until the corresponding order is paid in full.

9. Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey.

10. Changes. We may update these Terms; the version posted at the time of your order applies to that order.
