2We take it off and price itFeet of guardrail and handrail, the price, and shop drawings for your architect to approve. We follow the architect's details and the code for your town.

3We build itFully welded and powder coated. Shipped loose for your crew to set and field weld, or installed by us in New Jersey.

New constructionStair guardrails on every flight, continuous wall handrails at every level, balcony and terrace guards, roof deck guards. Built to the permit set, delivered when the stairs are framed.

Rehabs and renovationsReplacing old railings in occupied buildings. Measured on site, built to the existing stairs, installed with the least disruption. Code-compliant heights and openings so the inspection passes.

Our three designs, Axis, Keystone and Horizon, or your architect's design. Steel inside, aluminum outside. Matte black powder coat is standard, other colors on request.

New York City and the tri-state area

Our shop is about 60 miles from Manhattan. We fabricate in New Jersey and deliver to the site in the five boroughs, Long Island, Westchester and New Jersey. Shipped loose for your crew, or installed by us. Shop drawings for the architect, heights and openings to code.

Anywhere else in the lower 48, we build it and ship it loose. Send the plans and we tell you what it costs and when it ships.

Questions builders ask us

Can you work from the architect's drawings?

Yes. Send the permit set or the stair sheets. We take off every flight and landing, price it, and send shop drawings back for approval before anything is cut.

Do you ship loose or install?

Both. In New Jersey we install it ourselves. Everywhere else we ship it loose, fully welded, for your crew to set and field weld. The pieces come labeled to the drawing.

Steel or aluminum?

Steel inside, aluminum outside. Aluminum does not rust, so balconies, terraces and exterior stairs go out in aluminum. Both are powder coated.

What about code?

Guard heights, handrail heights and the 4 inch opening rule are built in. We follow the code for your town and the details your architect calls out. Your inspector has the final say, and we build so that visit goes quickly.

How far ahead do you need the order?

Tell us when the stairs will be framed. We schedule the shop around your date and full payment before material holds the slot.
