The biggest surprise for most of our customers is not the railing — it is how fast it goes in. A Barzel railing arrives fully welded and powder coated, with posts, base plates, plate covers and wood screws in the box. Nothing to assemble, nothing to weld, nothing to cut. Here is the whole job.
Step 1 — Measure once, the right way
Measure the full length the railing has to cover, end to end and level, plate tip to plate tip. Then open your design — Axis, Keystone or Horizon — and slide to that number. Landed on a fraction like 52-3/8"? Pick the nearest inch and put the exact figure in the order comments. We build to the measurement you give us.
Step 2 — Tell us what you are drilling into
Wood screws come with every order. Going into concrete, pavers or masonry? Say so in the order comments at checkout and we will send the right anchors instead. That one sentence saves you a trip to the hardware store.
Step 3 — The install
- Stand the panel where it goes and check it with a level.
- Mark through the base plate holes — four marks per plate.
- Drill your pilot holes, or hammer-drill for concrete.
- Fasten each plate down.
- Snap the plate covers on. Done.
A short panel is comfortably a one-person job. On a longer run a second pair of hands makes levelling easier. Longer runs arrive in sections that bolt down in line — same steps, just repeated.
